Hi all.....During high school summer vacations and after graduation, I also graduated from Wanner's Beauty School in Duluth, but did not pursue that career (at that time). Worked for Russell's Meadowgold Dairy for a few years in Superior as an accounts receivable bookkeeper. One of my best friends at that time was Mary Alice (LaJoie) Musolf (whom I am still trying to locate). If anyone knows her whereabouts, please let me know. She and I worked together and she was in my wedding (first marriage). After my divorce in '69, I moved to Mpls and was a hairdresser for a couple of years at my own salon. Then, went to work for L'Oreal as a hair color technician. As a 16 year old, I always dreamed about living in a warm climate, namely Miami, where I would stare for hours at brochures, and pictures of my cousin, Peter Karnas and his wife, Linda, sitting on toppled palm trees and such. I even tried to convince my father to sell his business and move the family there! After his death In '72 I moved to Miami Beach where I lived for 5 years.
